
Maite Alberdi’s The Mole Agent
After conclusion of voting February 5, fifteen films now advance to the next round of voting in the Academy Awards Documentary Feature category. In the Documentary Short category ten films will advance.
The next round of voting will be undertaken between 5-10 March by members of the Academy’s Documentary Branch to determine the five nominations within the doc categories. The nominated films will be announced March 15.
Final voting is restricted to active and life members of the Academy who have viewed all of the nominated documentaries.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place April 25 and aired across 225 countries and territories worldwide.
Documentary Feature short-listed films Alexander Nanau’s Collective and Maite Alberdi’s The Mole Agent are also shortlisted in International Feature category.
