
Producer training program EURODOC has named the 45 participants, from 32 countries and 5 continents, selected for its 27th program.
This year, the first residential session will take place in Porto (Portugal) in March, with the support of Porto/Post/Doc, ICA – Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual, Turismo de Portugal,Turismo do Porto e Norte and Portugal Film Commission and the second session will be run in Tallinn (Estonia) in June, with the support of the Estonian Film Institute and the Lithuanian Film Centre. In October in Strasbourg, the producers will meet with 40 leading industry decision-makers, and graduate.
“In each country, a group of local producers will join the international cohort and build a robust network of creative and business opportunities,” EURODOC writes. “Through the in-person sessions and intensive online sessions, group work and peer-to-peer learning, masterclasses, case studies, individual consultations and coaching, and a special BIPOC Taskforce – curated program, the participants will address writing and development, European, global and South-South production funding schemes, coproduction fundamentals, techniques and ethics, legal responsibilities, management, impact, marketing and audience outreach, responsible uses of AI and pitching skills, distribution and sales strategies.”
