
DocLisboa announced November 1 the Arché 2020 award winners, from the 15 projects at varying stages of production presented during DocLisboa Arché 2020. The originating countries werw Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Mexico, Bolivia, Canada, Cuba, Argentina, Brazil and Peru.
During the first ‘moment’ of the reconfigured 18th DocLisboa, each of the 15 projects was offered the opportunity to work with a tutor for several days within development workshops, providing them with visibility and networking, a presentation opportunity and one-to-one meetings with international producers, distributors, programmers and other agents.
“Arché was born from the need to build new bridges and to bring worlds together,” said DocLisboa after the 2020 pitch event awards were handed out November 1 2020. “The challenge has always been to envision and break new ground between film creators, researchers, programmers and audiences.”

This year, Nebulae established a partnership with Pitch the Doc, a digital platform for projects in development, that gave a special mention to one of the selected projects from the Invited Country – Georgia programme, to boost its progress by granting a dedicated expert consultancy.
