
Arché, the project development lab of Apordoc, will take place October 21-31 onsite during Nebulae, the industry programme of Doclisboa International Film Festival. This year, 12 projects at different stages of production, and hailing from 7 countries, were selected from an overall number of 109 projects submitted from 18 Ibero-American countries.
A pitching session will take place October 22 which will be live-streamed to the Nebulae platform, exclusive to film professionals with a Nebulae accreditation.
Over the coming days, the participants will be working with tutors and will attend a programme of meetings with film professionals to foster new business opportunities.
RAW – Residencies Arché→Work is also back to its onsite format, with artistic residencies and a training programme in which 3 of the selected projects and 3 research projects will be participating.
The projects will be in the running for four Arché awards, given by a jury composed by Debra Zimmerman, executive director of NY-based Women Make Movies organization (United States); João Vieira Torres, filmmaker and artist in the fields of photography, video art and performance (Brazil) and Vladen Petkovic, film journalist, critic, and festival programmer (Croatia).
