Ji.hlava IDFF has unveiled the 16 new European documentary projects to be presented October 27–28 at the 2nd edition of the New Visions Forum during this year’s festival.
The Forum will feature projects in development as well as in production and post-production. The selected projects include diverse genres and audiovisual formats – such as fiction films with documentary aspects, hybrid, cinema expanded, experimental and short films.
The list of the ten U.S. documentary projects at the Ji.hlava New Visions Forum is also announced.
This year Ji.hlava IDFF is also introducing a number of awards granted to the most promising projects presented at the Forum – in co-operation with the festival’s partners AmDocs, UPP, Soundsquare, DAFilms.com, Taskovski Films, Cannes Docs – Marché du Film, Documentary Association of Europe and the European Film Market.
The Ji.hlava New Visions Market features an additional 24 European films looking for co-productions, the festival adds, whose makers are available for meetings with Ji.hlava industry guests.
All presentations will be available both in person and online to the Ji.hlava industry accreditation holders.
