March 1 2020 is the application deadline for projects to attend the industry section of the Belgrade International Documentary Film Festival, the festival underlined at EFM, February 19 2020.
Beldocs Industry events will take place 7-11 May 2020 in Belgrade (Serbia) and is inviting filmmakers from the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia) and Post-Soviet media countries (Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Ukraine) to apply across the different Industry sections.
Projects submitted should be either productions or co-productions involving the above-mentioned countries.
Beldocs in Progress International is a platform for the presentation of international documentary projects from low production countries from the Western Balkans and Post-Soviet Media countries for presentation to international co-production, sales, distribution and broadcast community.
The Beldocs Academy call is aimed at authors of VR/AR projects in development (preferably doc) to submit their projects for an advanced 3-day course with international renowned experts and tutors.
For the Documentaries for Kids & Youth Development Workshop Beldocs is looking for fresh, innovative and edgy projects in development with the intention to tell real-life stories to younger target audience.
Meanwhile, Serbian Docs In Progress is a platform to present documentary projects from Serbia to international industry.
Beldocs Industry 2020 is the professional arm of the Beldocs International Documentary Film Festival, which will take place 8 to 15 May 2020. The festival will showcase more than 120 documentaries from all over the world, split into 15 programme sections and screened across 12 venues in Belgrade.
