FIDLab Award Winners 2021

FIDLab

The gongs were handed out June 18 at the end of the 13th edition of FIDLab (June 14-18). Out of more than 500 international applications, 16 projects representing 15 production countries formed the 2021 selection. 285 one-to-one meetings were held during the 4-day event. FIDLab is the international co-production platform of FIDMarseille.

Arising from a desire to help support the production of strong and unusual works, the event is “neither a market nor a forum for promotion,” said event organisers. “FIDLab wants to create a dynamic framework where production and artistic activities can intersect and expand.”

Following the presentation videos of each project, one-to-one meetings were run from the beginning of the week, connecting the teams of the projects and  film professionals from all over the world.

FIDLab continues during the Cannes Film Festival with two days of one-to-one meetings (12 an 13 july) between the producers of the FIDLab selected projects and the international professionals attending the Festival, with the support of la Région Sud.
