In 2019, he launched Paradiddle Pictures, his own documentary training and consulting firm.
From 2003 to 2019, Rishøj Jensen worked for the European Documentary Network (EDN), programming and producing a large number of industry events including the EDN Pitch Pilot Workshop, Docs in Thessaloniki, DocPro Tehran and the body’s market activities at the European Film Market and in Cannes. He has organised courses, seminars and workshops for events such as CPH:DOX, the San Sebastian Film Festival, HotDocs, as well as for various European film institutes.
In addition, he serves as the documentary tutor and head of studies for several European documentary training initiatives such as MFI Script2Film, Dox in Vitro and RealYoung.
After his appointment, Rishøj Jensen told Business Doc Europe: “It is a great pleasure for me to join the industry team at FIPADOC. I look very much forward to working with the team as well as the French and international partners of the festival. That my first year being involved in the industry activities of the festival will have a focus on the Baltic countries and Finland, makes it even more of a joy for me to join the organisation.”
The next edition of FIPADOC will run from 20-28 January 2023. The festival has just opened the call for proposals for the co-production forum, with the deadline for applications set as 10 November.
Rishøj Jensen starts his new role with immediate effect.
