
Fifteen international projects, representing 20 production countries, were selected from more than 400 international applications for the FIDLab 2020 international co-production platform. Following the pitches, 280 online one-to-one meetings were conducted.
The FIDLab jury, composed of Fiorella Moretti, founder and CEO of the international sales company LuxBox; Matthijs Wouter Knol , director of the European Film Market/Berlinale; and Paolo Moretti, General Delegate at La Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, awarded nine in-kind prizes provided by the 11 FIDLab partners.
The following were awarded to documentary projects:
Air France Award
by Sharon Lockhart, produced by Primitive Film (UK) and Lockhart Studio (US)
The winner received two 2 tickets long-haul flight tickets from Air France.
Camargo Foundation Award
by Carlos Casas, produced by AMI (UK) and Etnograf (Poland)
The prize covers a residency of 4 to 8 weeks.
Mactari Award
XIAO LI
by Maya Kosa & Sérgio da Costa, produced by Alina Film / Switzerland and O Som e a Fúria / Portugal
This award provides a sound editing and/or sound mix studio, without a technician.
Micro Climat Studios Award
OLLIN BLOOD

The post-production company will offer services (such as image editing, sound editing, sound mix, color grading, conforming).
