
Paradiddle Pictures has announced the dates and deadlines for its Autumn season of standalone DocCelerator documentary workshops, launched in May 2020.
DocCelerator is an online documentary workshop series organized by Geoffrey Smith and Ove Rishøj Jensen of Danish outfit Paradiddle Pictures, has so far run to 26 editions with over 250 documentary makers taking part. All DocCelerators are project-based workshops taking place online. The length of each workshop is two days and can accommodate 4-6 selected project teams.
There are two different editions of the workshop, both designed to cover specific needs during the different stages of project development, production and post-production. In addition, DocCelerator On Demand looks to fulfil the needs and meet the requirements of local, regional or national film organisations.
DocCeleratorStory: an online documentary story and script development program for documentary makers wanting a more focused story and clearer dramaturgical structure for their projects. The workshop will help define and develop the key structural narrative elements of the film.

DocCeleratorWorkInProgress: an online documentary story editing and distribution program aimed at documentary makers looking for input into their project in production or at rough cut stage to define the structural narrative of the recorded material and create the right strategy for festival distribution and international sales.
Dates: October 10-11, 2023. Deadline: September 13.
DocCeleratorBelgium: Aimed at Belgium documentary directors and producers, this edition of DocCelerator is organised by the two Creative Europe Desks in Brussels; Europe Créative Wallonie-Bruxelles and Creative Europe MEDIA Desk – Vlaanderen. Read more here at Europe Créative Wallonie-Bruxelles.

DocCeleratorHungary: Aimed at Hungarian documentary directors and producers, this edition of DocCelerator is organised by the Kreatív Európa Iroda in Budapest.
