Last week, Berlinale hosted the closing part of the EMERGING PRODUCERS 2022 workshop, the highly respected program that focuses on the training and promotion of talented up-and-coming European documentary film producers.
Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival has put out its call for applications for the next edition of the program, which will take place October 24-28 2022 (Jihlava) and in February 2023 (Berlin). The application deadline is March 31, 2022.
As part of the program, the emergingproducers.com online portal features information about all 182 producers who have previously benefited from previous editions, including contacts, current projects as well as their personal profiles. The portal serves as a networking tool for European documentary film producers and other film professionals and aims at supporting European co-productions.
“We are happy to see that many of the EMERGING PRODUCERS program alumni have become successful in the international arena and collected awards at major film festivals across the world – including the Cannes‘ Palme d’Or or Berlin’s Golden Bear,“ says Jarmila Outratová, Ji.hlava IDFF Head of Industry.
The EMERGING PRODUCERS program is organized and curated by the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival whose 26th edition will take place October 25-30 2022 in the Czech Republic.
