The submissions deadline for both Arché and RAW: Residencies Arché → Work has been set for June 1 2020.
Arché is a professional lab aiming to provide tools for the creation of new cinematographic Ibero-American projects. RAW aims to provide a space for the development of new films between Lisbon and Madrid.
Organised by Apordoc (Portuguese Documentary Association) and slated to run Oct 22 to Nov 1 during Doclisboa’s Nebulae industry event, Arché is a laboratory of professional activities, described as “a space for thinking and creative development, intending to provide tools to new film projects, as well as moments of reflection and training, thus fostering and ensuring projects’ identity and quality.”
Aimed at directors, producers, film critics and researchers, as well as other film professionals, Arché is exclusive to directors from Ibero-American countries and Italy with projects at writing, development stage, editing and post-production stages.
For the second consecutive year, Arché joins forces with the Spanish Festival Márgenes for RAW- Residencies Arché → Work, which aims to provide a space for the development of new films between Lisbon and Madrid.
RAW is aimed at directors and producers as well as critics and researchers in the field of nonfiction.
Arché and RAW are supported by the Ibermedia Programme.
