Organised as part of Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy, Finnish Film Affair will gather hundreds of industry professionals for the 12th time 20-22 September 2023.
FFA’s Documentaries in Progress & Development selection will showcase nine new Finnish docs. These projects will also compete for the Best Documentary Project Award, a €3000 package from AVEK to be used towards the making of an international trailer of the film.

Accreditation for the event is open for international film industry professionals until the 13th of September. The FFA programme also includes a number of networking events, such as an opening reception with the City of Helsinki.
The 36th Helsinki International Film Festival, Finland’s largest film festival dedicated to celebrating new and groundbreaking cinema, runs on-site in Helsinki from 14-24 September 2023.
