Visions du Réel Industry delegations, juries and new prizes

VdR Industry, the professional arm of Swiss docfest Visions du Réel (April 4-13), announced Feb 28 that it will welcome six country delegations in 2025, and unveiled the juries within its VdR–Industry, Eurimages Co-Production Development and visions sud est sections. Four more awards will be handed out this year, bringing the total prize pot to CHF 80,000 (EUR 85,500). VdR Industry runs April 6-9. 

VdR–Industry’s offers “unique access for accredited producers and filmmakers to connect with international production companies through its delegations programme, expanding networks with the view towards new co-production and co-financing opportunities,” write organisers.

This year’s delegations include:

Meet the 2025 VdR–Industry Juries
The VdR–Industry Jury is composed of Sarah Choi – Film Development & Artist Support Manager Field of Vision, Michael Stütz – Co-Director of Film Programming and Panorama Section head Berlinale and Bénédicte Thomas – CEO Arizona Distribution. 

The 2025 Eurimages Co-Production Development Award Jury is composed of Eleni Chandrinou – Film Consultant Eurimages, Gianluca Matarrese – Film director Bellota Films, Stemal Entertainment and Tamara Tatishvili – Head of Hubert Bals Fund Rotterdam International Film Festival. 

The 2025 visions sud est Jury is composed of Pamela Biénzobas – Feature films selection committee Locarno Film Festival, Gaëlle Genet – Head of programming FIFF- Fribourg International Film Festival and Stefanie Rusterholz – Co-director Trigon-film. 

VdR-Industry Awards
The VdR–Industry programme furthermore announced over CHF 80’000 of awards and prizes to be bestowed on projects pitched across the professional programme. The new awards are offered in addition to the €20,000 Eurimages Co-Production Development Award, the CHF 10,000 visions sud est Award and the RTS Award.

Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the VdR–Industry programme on Wednesday 9 April 2025. Newly announced prizes include:

  • The Party Films Sales Award
  • The Lightdox Award
  • The Unifrance Titra Film Award
  • The Masé Studio Award
