IDFA Industry has put out the call for projects and films within its Forum, DocLab Forum and Doc for Sale sections. It also announced its new Industry venue; Felix Meritis, located in Amsterdam’s Jordaan district.
“For three decades, our array of market services has had a proven track record in the international documentary industry, whether you are looking to form new partnerships, initiate dialogues, find financial support, meet distribution partners, or gain knowledge about the current documentary climate,” writes the festival.
Of the new Industry venue, the festival adds: “A dynamic marketplace focused on bringing the industry together, the location will welcome project teams, industry representatives, financiers, and observers to physically attend the Forum on site, while down the hall, film teams, buyers, festival programmers, sales agents, and distributors will gather in-house at Docs for Sale. Meeting rooms and lounge spaces will be available for all guests of the markets throughout the building to network and mingle.”

The Docs for Sale 2022 deadline for submissions is September 8. This year Docs for Sale will be presented live on site November 11 to 16.
This year, the IDFA festival runs 9-20 November.
