
CPH:DOX’s international financing and co-production event CPH:FORUM is now open for submissions, accepting projects until November 1, 2024. This includes the new CPH:RoughCut, which will present 5 projects at rough cut stage looking for distributors (including theatrical), sales agents, buyers, high profile festival premieres and other forms of exhibition.
30 international film and new media projects in various stages of development and production will be presented during CPH:FORUM, taking place March 25-27, 2025 in Copenhagen. The event is dedicated to supporting creative and “visually strong film projects” and connects professionals from the worlds of non-fiction, fiction, journalism, science and visual art.
CPH:FORUM is looking for projects within the following focus areas:
- CINEMA: High-end theatrical feature-length documentaries with international distribution potential.
- FICTIONONFICTION: Challenging works in the hybrid landscape between fiction and non-fiction.
- F:ACT: Projects bridging the fields of filmmaking, investigative journalism and activism.
- SCIENCE: Creative documentary film and new media projects on science and technology.
- ART: Film projects by visual artists to be screened both within the institution of cinema and that of visual arts.
Selected projects will be invited to present their work to key European and international financiers, distributors and potential co-producers and take part in tailored one-to-one meetings. Click here to submit projects.

Introducing CPH:RoughCut
New to CPH:FORUM in 2025 will be CPH:RoughCut, which will present 5 projects at rough cut stage looking for distributors (including theatrical), sales agents, buyers, high profile festival premieres and other forms of exhibition.
“In the spirit of always improving our offer to the professionals attending CPH:INDUSTRY, we are shifting gears and presenting CPH:RoughCut. This new activity will bring focus to close to completion or finished films looking at targeting distribution, visibility or a festival debut as of spring,” write organisers.
