The five nominations in BAFTA 2021’s Best Documentary category were announced March 9 as Alexander Nanau’s Collective; Alastair Fothergill, Jonnie Hughes and Keith Scholey’s David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet; Bryan Fogel and Thor Halvorssen’s The Dissident; Pippa Ehrlich, James Reed and Craig Foster’s My Octopus Teacher and The Social Dilemma by Jeff Orlowski and Larissa Rhodes.

BAFTA confirmed that this year’s ceremony will take place across two days (April 10 and 11).
