INTRO:DOX, a new initiative of support to emerging filmmakers, will kick off this year’s industry programme of CPH:DOX 19 March with a full day of case studies and interactive sessions connecting the new generation of storytellers with established producers and industry decision makers.
“An INTRO:DOX accreditation gives access to CPH:FORUM at a discounted price and to a programme that will equip upcoming filmmakers with the necessary tools and know-how to join and thrive in the established industry ecosystem,” write organisers. In collaboration with the International Emerging Film Talent Association, CPH:INDUSTRY has secured a number of full bursaries to cover the costs of qualifying applicants from emerging regions in need of financial aid. CPH:DOX also announced this week that a record number of 11 international delegations are coming to Copenhagen in March, “enriching our industry programme and benefitting from our specially curated networking events and tailored mentorship programmes.”
Producers and filmmakers from Chile, France, Germany, Israel, Norway, Palestine, Poland, Quebec, Scotland, Switzerland and the UK will be introduced to the accredited film professionals during a specially curated networking event taking place Monday, March 20, in the new industry venue at The Odd Fellow Palace, located in the heart of Copenhagen.
Additionally, the festival published a preliminary list of decision makers confirmed for CPH:FORUM 2023 which takes place March 20-23. The list includes toppers from public service and commercial broadcasters, arts institutions, film funds and foundations as well as private equity funders, sales agents and distributors.
Accreditations are available for press and industry professionals in five categories: FORUM, INDUSTRY, ACADEMY, INTRO:DOX and PRESS. The sign-up deadline is February 15.
