FIPADOC closes 2023 Industry Days with pitch awards

The fifth FIPADOC Industry Days closed Thursday January 26 with the award of prizes to winning French and international projects. “Our aim is to ignite collaborations and create long-lasting ties within the European documentary industry,” FIPADOC Creative Director Christine Camdessus told Business Doc Europe during the event.

  • Best French Pitch Award: Hori, Learn to Live After Daesh (dir. Chris Huby) France
  • Saya Award: The Colour of Mold (dir. Nicolas Queinec) France
  • Impact Lab Project Award: Kivu, Lake of Life (dir. Elise Sawasawa) France
  • DocsBarcelona Award: Guilt (dir. Roni Aboulafia) Israel

  • Bio to B Award: Kyiv Soloists (dir. Trond Kvig Andreassen) Norway, Ukraine

On January 27 FIPADOC will unveil the award-winning films across all the festival’s competition sections.
