
DocsBarcelona Industry (May 12-16) has unveiled the 33 projects selected for its 3-day Forum, running May 13 to 15.
One of the leading non-fiction markets in Southern Europe, more than 800 accredited professionals from the European, Latin American, and international documentary community will have the opportunity to connect, co-produce, and collaborate on these 33 new and advanced projects. The selected participants will take part in various Forum activities: Public Pitch (14/05), Rough Cut Pitch (15/05), New Tech Pitch (13/05) and Speed Meetings.

As earlier reported, Andres Veiel’s Riefenstahl, about arguably the 20th Century’s most controversial filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, will open the 28th edition of DocsBarcelona on March 8. The screening coincides with the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
Furthermore, the 28th edition of DocsBarcelona will feature Germany as its guest country, highlighting its documentary legacy and impact on the non-fiction film industry, as well as pay tribute to renowned German producer and distributor Heino Deckert, who will receive the 2025 Docs de Honor Award.
