The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences shortlists for Documentary Feature and Short Subject for the 94th Academy Awards were unveiled December 21.
One hundred thirty-eight features were eligible for consideration in Feature Doc category. 82 films qualified were eligible for consideration in Short Feature category.
Oscar nomination voting commences January 27 and ends February 1. The nominations will be announced on February 8. Final voting will be restricted to active and life members of the Academy who have viewed all of the nominated documentaries.
The 94th Oscars® will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 and televised live in more than 200 territories worldwide.
