Taskovski Films announces world sales pick-up of Tales of Oblivion

Dulce Fernandes’ Tales of Oblivion

Taskovski Films announced November 13 its acquisition for world sales of Dulce Fernandes’ Tales of Oblivion, which world-premiered November 10 in IDFA’s Envision section and which concerns recent archaeological findings in southern Portugal that reveal Portugal’s forgotten role in the transatlantic trafficking of enslaved African people. The film “invokes the distance between what we want to forget and the urgency of memory.”

Additionally, Taskovski Films is handling world sales on 1001 Days Zikethiwe Ngcobo, Chloe White, described as “a heartwarming film” directed by award-winning documentary filmmaker Chloe White and Kethiwe Ngcobo, and produced by Rose Palmer of Whalebone Films. The film makes its international premiere in the Luminous selection, and “delves into the critical first 1001 days of pregnancy to two years, a period of utmost importance for women in South Africa,” the film notes underline. 

This year Taskovski Films celebrates its 20th anniversary. “We revel in two decades of cinematic excellence.
