
Five feature docs and five short docs have advanced to the final round of Oscar voting. The winners will be announced March 12 during 95th Academy Awards ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. This year, 144 documentary features and 98 shorts were eligible for consideration. The nominees are:

- The Martha Mitchell Effect by Anne Alvergue and Debra McClutchy (co-director)
- Stranger at the Gate by Joshua Seftel
Final voting begins 9am. PT – Thursday, March 2, 2023. Final voting ends 5pm. PT – Tuesday, March 7, 2023
The 95th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 12, live from the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and televised live on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide.
